What if you were in charge?

Ever fantacized what you would do if you ran the country? I do all the time. And I don't mean having to deal with congress and the courts. The first thing I would do is give the United Nations 90 days to pack up because I would take the property under imminet domain. Here is where it gets fun. I would then have a new UN building built in Haiti. It would solve two problems. The Haitian economy would blossom with all the money pumped into the country, and the freaking UN could figure out how to improve the neighborhood. No more third world punks coming to our shores and belittleing us with impunity. What would some of you do?

What would I do? a lot, 1st, set government employees salaries equal to that of the average worker, set congress and senate salaries to that of the average military member, make all government employees and members of the house and senate use the VA hospitals for their health care, next...close the borders and deport all illegals. Then put every able bodied welfare recipient to work picking veggies, fruit, doing cleanup or whatever else needs to be done, and drug test all of them. Thats just for starters.

First would be term limits, otherwise the knuckleheads would reverse everything I fixed.

I would then implement my health care program. I would decree that if Michael Moore ever needed medical attention that he go to Cuba for it.

Good ideas so far. I propose:

Abolish the Federal Reserve

Go to flat tax, or fairtax

Quit supporting failed financial institutions. Let the free market reign again. It will be very painful for a few years but the system will begin to work again.

Mirror every trade sanction/restriction China has against us.

First I would set congressional term limits, make them live under the set of laws they pass,(even if they didn't read them,) and do away with all their pensions. I guess that would make me a dictator wouldn't it.

Im like that idea of congress not being exempt from the laws they pass. Right now they have their own pension and health care, and lord knows what else.
