I have a 4 bay self serve wash. I have a 5 gallon holding tank that supplies hot water to 4 Cat 310 pumps when in high pressure wash. The tank has two nipples on the bottom (one 1/2" and the other a 3/4"). Both are leading to a 1inch pvc pipe which the 4 pumps come off of with a 1/2" hose. Will that provide enough water to the pumps?

I have the whole setup minus the pumps at home just to experiment to see if it will provide enough water. It only puts out about 12 gallons in a minute but the 1/2" valve I have in the tank will not keep up with the water going out of the tank. A 1/2" valve is supposed to pump out about 20 GPM but it can't keep up.

Comments.....Please!

Regarding keeping the tank full, your water pressure is probably the culprit.

You might consider plugging the two smaller ports and installing a 1" bulkhead in the tank instead.
