Where do you get your best ideas?

According to a recent study some 41% said that there best ideas were thought of in the bathroom. 43% women and 38% of men credited the bathroom for their ideas. 49% said while in bed, 72% said their best ideas came while at work, while 57% said talking with friends.

Asked why they had gone into business for themselves, 80% said wanted the power and control over their own life. 78% sought personal freedom and 77% believed that their idea would make money.

My most productive ideas came from a 12 mile drive to the car wash starting my day.
 
I read in an entrepreneurial book once that, "All great ideas come while walking....." Looking back on my life, I have to agree.
 
The first thought that came to my mind was the mysterious ACW thefts I solved while sitting on the toilet. I did also come up with a "duh" solution while laying in bed one morning as well.
 
I'm in a car or truck 4-10 hours a day lots of think time and where my ideas take shape,works for me!
 
Probably while patronizing other businesses or visiting other car wash locations. I just steal their ideas.
Have to say got plentty here and from industry mags. Also reading other stuff and applying it to the wash business.
