We stopped using trash bags over 30 years ago. We found it to not be cost effective to use bags. We just dump the trash in the dumpster.

I'd rather wash out the cans than mess with bags. I clean one can out a day and they never get real dirty and it takes less time than putting bags in seven cans.

I understand what yall are saying, but....the city gives me a FREE dumpster, which is across town at my smaller wash. They won't move it to Larger wash. So, we have to haul trash from 5 LARGE trash cans, across town every day, sometimes we can skip 1 day. So. I REALLY am forced to used trash bags
Dont wanna haul five, 55 gal drums across town.

I get the kirkland brand bags at costco, 55 gallon, 1.4 mil, black. They dont give me a discount for bulk, but they are still a lot cheaper than the 3 mil contractor bags, and 1.4 is strong enough that they dont tear apart on me if I dont overload them too badly.
I tried some 1 mil bags once - too thin, they tore apart on me. 3 mil is definitely overkill.
I havent found a better deal for a decent bag anywhere.

idk, my wife picks them up. I just checked the costco website, I dont see the box we've been using for over 10 years, crap!
Upon closer inspection, this looks like the one, just a different box (and of course higher price):
costco trash bags
