Hit that LEGO contraption with some Lo pH presoak, blast it off then some Hi pH presoak and blast it off, then a little spotfree rinse, some temprature changes like,,,oh lessee run it at ambient 106 deg for a day or two then like um 20 deg for a day or two........then leave it idle for a day and try to start it up again.
If it still works then maybe you got something there.
