WW 2.0 Boom not coming down

Hi All, my WW2.0 boom just stopped coming down. Even at the gantry, wheere you can get the machine to go forward/reverse, it doesn’t move when i press Boom down/up. The motor super hot asif something is blocking it (bad gearbox). I did have a major leak just by the prox sensors and did get alarm 16 which basically saying these sensors bad. So im not sure if the leak is related. Why the motor starts and gets too hot? If the prox sensor bad , shouldn’t it cut the power to the motor.

UPDATE: this morning tried it and the boom came down, asif due to motor cooled down over night?
I did open those porx sensors, put dielectric grease and put back. a couple of them were loose but they could still sense metal (at least while the machine not moving). not sure if this is trying to tell me that the motor is going bad.
Also the broken hose is fixed and no more praying water on these prox sensors.

I think the leak made tge prox sensor to act up, not sending signal to the motor to stop while boom reached its home position at top. Motor heated up and stopped working.
