Hello,

Boom will work manually but not during wash. when we run a test it throws off Alarm 13 - no downward motion detected on boom. We’ve changed out the prox sensors thinking one was bad but still have the same problem. Any suggestions on what to try next would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

In the spirit of being the first person to see this....

I'm not a good tech, but I've had my distributor involved in this one. i think it turned out to be the eyes, not prox sensors.

Well just providing an updating and hoping to close the loop on the main issue here...

Here’s the video of what the problem looked like:
https://youtu.be/0akrDtb2UgQ

It was throwing off Alarm code 13 (no downward motion detected) and Alarm 25 (top proximity was on even though boom count was greater than 10), would do triple shine, boom would come down part way and then end. We changed out prox’s and changed the can safety eyes and spent more time on this than I care to admit but basically the boom prox A & B were reversed. Getting that corrected has resolved the main issue (still have something going on with blower but I think that’s an unrelated issue that I won’t bother to detail here).

Thank you for the advice. I had more banner eye sensors coming by the time we discovered our self inflicted error...

The same type issue can happen on the gantry if you count get those swapped. I still can''t quite get my head around how it knows the difference between the two proxes. I label mine with a sharpie.
