Just bought this Pan, Tilt, Zoom cam for my equipment room called Wyzecam pan for $29.99 runs off your WiFi signal at your wash even has 2 way talk and listen features along with night vision and motion tracking amongst other features. I can check for water leaks, listen if there is a air leak or if we have people in the equip room what is being said. it's not a stationary cam as I said it is a PTZ cam that is super affordable and it works.

They are terrific and the best investment. I have 6 around my equipment room to monitor chemical levels, the changer, and all the equipment.

just bought a few of the fixed ones and one PTZ cam based on what I've read here.

They are great little wonders!

Setup is as easy as it gets- five minutes or less. They would be ideal where youhave a low traffic spot but don't want to devote a slot on your DVR. You can configure it to send your phone a notification and a video clip if the camera picks up motion. I'm putting one in my office and in my vending closet. If someone gets in there messing around, I'll know about it. I'm going to put one in at home watching my gun safe. The only downside to them is they are rated for indoor use only.

Anyway guys if you have wifi at your wash, a power outlet nearby, and a smartphone, I recommend you get one or three to play with. I guarantee you'll find a use for them.

Just took over a wash and haven't figured out how to get to view the DVR remotely. I just zip tied a wyze camera on the shelf looking at the screen and set the screen to scroll through the cameras. Its not perfect but works surprisingly well and took less than ten minutes to do.

Also working good to let me know when my attendant is there. When they open the equipment door the camera sends a notification to my phone.

Roz & others,

We are just beginning to try the pan, zoom & tilt one in our laundromat. We used 3M VHB double backed tape to stick stiff plastic to the bottom of one of our three ceiling fans & bolted the camera base upside down onto the plastic. We know it will go an effective 360° with the wide angle lens but it has only been a few hours since install. We will gradually learn its features etc. We kind of plan a few more since our wifi is extremely strong & we could use the private wifi also set up on our Sonicwall Router rather than the one shared with the public.

Once the SD card gets some footage both video & audio ... can it be transferred to the cell phone as an mp4 or similar audio visual file?

I hope I don't have to resort to one or both of the following but on the other hand these could be great for longer time periods the following storage approaches could make sense:
