Hi guys,
Just a quick question:
What instantaneous electrical hot water system are you using and are you happy with it?
I can't use gas. Thanks.

In most areas even propane would be less expensive than an electric instantaneous heater because of both the consumption charges and the demand charges. You may want to check into a heat pump hot water heater with a very large storage tanK. Post pictures of your electrical bills and we could probably help you figure out what it would cost to have an instant electrical hot water heater.

Thanks for your reply. We've got solar and we are in an area where the ROI of our solar is 3.5 years.
I was just curios if someone else had experience with it and what brands are out there. Thanks.

Awesome, I was in Australia a few years ago and amazed how everyone had mini split style HVAC and heat pump water heater's . Seems like someone told me the power was like $.24 OK to be seems like someone told me the power was like $.24 Kwh. You may have different billing's games over there but I'm assuming they have demand charges which is why they charge the maximum usage for the month and I 15 or 30 minutes. As a separate charge it here it's called KW instead of KWH. How much per gallon is propane ?

Usually the houses have split air conditioning which are great as you only turn on the units that you need and if one aircon fails you can still sleep in one of the other rooms. Some carwashes tried heat pumps but I heard they pulled them out again. No idea why.
Don't ask me about gas prices but I think it is US$3.75 per gallon. :)
