SW Indiana melon fields.
Your description is pretty vague. Is the water coming from behind the head, from under a valve plug, at a fitting, all the time, only while it's running? Help us out a little bit.

Where the silver part meets the blue part when it's running.

Now KR tells me to buy a seal kit because seal warranty is 30 60 days. Pump has been in service 14 days!

It has a 5-year limited warranty, but you'll have to send it to an authorized Cat pump distributor. It should be an easy fix though, it's likely a low pressure seal (Part number 43305), a seal retainer o-ring (Part number 13978), or a plunger bolt seal (Part number 46730). If it's a plunger bolt seal it will more than likely have water in the oil.
