HydraFlex vs DEMA Rocket Injectors

Setting up a list of items to buy from Kleen Rite this week and I'm looking for feedback from anybody who has used the new DEMA Rocket Injectors, I have had great success with Hydraflex but I figured I would ask the question, what I like about the Dema is that it is serviceable.

I bought a rocket injector to try and my only complaint is the plastic molding that goes through the center of the injector and sticks out the ends broke off one end when I screwed a fitting over it. It seems to still work, but the plastic sticking out the ends is a very poor design. You would think it would at least be a smaller diameter so it doesn't snap off when you screw a coupling on it.

Anyone have any experience with the Dema Rocket injectors vs Hydro-flex? They appear to be a bit cheaper then HF and serviceable which in theory help to extend their life.

Not to high-jack your thread, but I like the HF all composite injectors. The older pvc over stainless will all eventually leak with High Ph presoaks

I have not tried the Dema Rocket

Kleen-Rite has the best price on composite chemical injectors! The 718057 model features a single barb, 0.057" orifice size, 1 GPM, and red color.

I have had this happen also, injector still worked though. I like the metal body for wrenching on and I like the short hose barb on them which makes it much easier to pull the hose off to change the tip. I have not had one fail yet and I would probably just replace a failed one with new vs. a rebuild kit which is an option with the Dema. I do like the Hydraflex injectors also. Which ever I could purchase for less, both are good injectors.

I just had to replace 2 Hydraflex dual-port injectors on my W.W Razor and both brand new injectors were bad, I mean bad by water would leak out the ports. I really like the Hydraflex but when it comes to spending $50+ an injector and have them fail because of an internal part that should be able to be serviced really bothers me. Luckily I had a Dema Rocket injector that didn't fail and if it had I could have taken it apart and not just have to throw it away, it would cost upwards of $20 just to ship them back to KR.
