Hamilton DAN system and network issues

Hello,
Has anyone had any issues with a DAN system and network connectivity issues. For example we have 2 locations with DAN systems that connect self serve bays and automatics for credit card processing. We continuously have network connectivity issues with the Hamilton DAN system keeping the automatics and self serve bays online for credit card processing. Meanwhile the internet service to the car wash is just fine.

We have switched internet service providers, purchased new routers, new switches and run new cat 5 lines and still having issues. Hamilton tech support ask use to change IP addresses in the system and that solution will last for a day or two then back to intermittent connectivity. We are loosing significant amount of sales throughout the year due to this issue.

HELP!!!

Do you have a static IP from your internet provider?

Depending on your hardware, you may need to manually set IP addresses in your router for each unit.

"change IP addresses in the system": Are the techs talking about changing the Dan's ip address?

If they are.... I believe you should look at how your router assigns ip addresses via dhcp. (Like mep1 mentioned in his second sentence.)

I would assume you have multiple items on your network and the router is assigning different addresses every time the lease runs out.
