Washworld HV hitting mirrors.

I have about two to three people a week, pull to far to the left resulting in the HV hitting their mirror and shutting down. I have floor markers but is there anything else I can do to try and fix this problem. Anyone else have this issue?

Is this a regular car mirror or extended mirrors on pick ups?

On your UCC go to "Program Menu", then "wash setup", then "Vehicle sizing". I have my "Measure Adjustment <Driver>" set to 3. You may need to adjust yours out a little if it is hitting mirrors. However, keep in mind that moving the arm further away form the car reduces the pressure. My Razor cleans well but if I move it out to avoid the extended mirrors the wash quality goes down.

The people just pull to the extreme left.
Well...if the arch is at the left limit I think the only option you have is to pry up the floor markers and move them over a little. Maybe that will keep the cars more toward the center of the bay.

If the machine is set up properly this may be your only option.
My distributor has a location with 12' wide doors. He has rubber bollards in the bay entrance to help center the car. I'll see if I can dig up a photo and email it to you.

I saw one a while back that had those pieces of cement curb that are set in front of a parking spot set in his bay on both the driver and passenger side to keep vehicles pulling in center.

Wow you have your Razor set on 3 but only on the driver side?, I have a location set at 5 for both sides and rear I figured anything lower then that would be way too close to the vehicle, what about the mirror detailer feature do you have that enabled we had it turned on for a while but it would keep messing up and hitting mirrors.

I tried everything.
The only way to keep them in the middle is drive it yourself
I finally put small curb and they still drive e over that
Im thinking of moving the sign to the passenger side as an experemt to see if they go to the right. I notice they look at the stop sign and drive towards it?
I put the paystation offset
Entrance arch offset
Bike Flag before entering. Drove over it
Small reflectors
Other day an elderly lady almost tore the t bar off:confused:

Let me add by tonite a commerical van with a rooftop refrigeration system on top adding a other 2 feet went through my 4000 almost. Top arch all jacked up and even the gantry.
So don't forget to install a steel I beam for the clearance bar.

I have a different location with a M5 that I never have this problem. The HV goes to extent on drivers side everytime so I don't know what the difference between the M5 and HV are.
