rare problem, need help

My SS bay 3 keeps tripping breaker inside the pumpstand (not on the breaker panel), after 20---40 secs.
Also, bay 2 defaults from hp rinse, after about 10 secs, to SFR.

Any advice on these issues?

It's pollen season, & I'm having my 1st real issues of the year!!

What is running when the breaker trips? Does it cut just the power to the motor?

Do you have GinSan pushbutton doors?

I have DH Touch Select 2000 bay doors (& have had for 2 years). I did replace bay 2 & 3 touchpads 2 weeks ago, but problem didn't start til after 12 days)

The breaker must be on the 24V side. If it's not tripping on a particular function, it's probably just bad.

For which problem? If it's the one tripping a 24V breaker he's either an idiot or a crook.

Have you resolved the issue of your DH door switching to spot free rinse no matter which option you choose? Did you have someone repair your touch pads or did you have someone build replacements? If I didn't know that you had replaced the touch pads I would have suggested that the controller board is bad. That was the main problem that I had with my DH doors. Here are a few thoughts.... Make sure that you turn the power off before doing anything with any wires as it is easy to fry the board(s) by moving wires around without killing the power. I would suggest double checking the boards that you installed to make sure that a pin connector or wire hasn't worked itself loose. The wiring in those units is pretty messy, so I would suggest to look there next. I would start at the terminal strip and make sure that every wire on both sides of the strip is connected in the correct spot and is secure (compare it to a working bay). Then I would open up the case for the controller board and make sure that the pin connectors are attached securely (it isn't hard to dislodge them by simply opening and closing the door). The next thing I would check is all of the other wiring. Make sure that all of the wires are attached correctly and securely. Make sure that none of the wire has been cut - even partially...easy to catch the wires in the door or in the lock, etc.

Hopefully you don't need to consider these thoughts. If you do need them and they don't help I might question the replacement touch pad. I spent about $1200 over the course of a year trying to get my DH doors to work properly. I tried three different circuit board repair companies and they all stunk.

I had a similar issue where the customer would push the spot free button and rinse would come one. My issue was immediate....couldn't get the spot free to turn on. Glad to be free of those DH doors.
