So I have been arguing with the city for the last couple years about a reduction in sewer charges due to the water that doesn't go down the drain. Now I have a water vendor that does quite well so even more water does not go down the drain. I loaned the City my copy of the article explaining the percentage of water that doesn't go down the drain from I believe it was the Self Serve Carwash News magazine about a year and a half ago and they conveniently lost it. Now I need to start all over again and I don't have the article anymore. Is there a place I can get a new copy of the old magazine? Or would someone happen to have a copy laying around they could copy off for me?

Anyone here ever had luck getting their sewer rates reduced?
That would be nice! The town I live in and where our wash is located has raised sewage rates over 300% in the last 2 years. Just got a 25% increase on water last month....Its hitting hard!

I’m a relatively new car wash owner. I’m trying to get my city to go out for a rate study and plan to raise hell until they implement different rates for different customers (like the consultants recommended they do 15 years ago but haven’t because the city seems to like everyone subsidizing the big brewery in town dumping their sludge down the drain). July 1 2018 will be paying $12.53 per 1,000 gallons for sewer.
