Hi everyone, I am tied up with one of my car wash's overhead doors at the moment and in desperate need of help! We are closed at 10pm and the whole facility will be automatically shut down until 6am. For some reason one of the units with 6 bays won't close its gate after we are closed. The door is physically closed but won't stay closed when there's an approach happening at the door after 10pm. I noticed this issue a few days ago because there was a customer who wanted a car wash after 10pm. The door opened and let the customer in then the alarm went off. I got a call from the alarm company and immediately went there and saw the door operating. There were red light and green light on at the same time on the outside wall of the building. There should be red one on only. I called Exacta who controlled the system and they said that was nothing to do with the control system and told me to call their distributor who kept saying very busy, can't make it out for a week. Called a loop detecter specialist who diagnosed our loop detecter and photo eye were just fine they still sensed a car there. I assume it's related to the timer which controlls when the door opens and closes but can't find where this TIMER located. Since the door provides security, I would like to fix it asap. Can anyone tell me how or where to get this problem fixed? Thank you very much in advance.

At the end of the day after the door closes for the nigh can you just shut the power off to it for the night so it cant open until you get it figured out?

That's what I am doing now. Turn the power off at 10pm and then on again at 6am. I am the manager here at the car wash. My shift usually started at 8am and ended at 6pm before this issue came up. Now I have to work 2 more hours due to this crazy door. :( Thank you for your reply though!
