I am thinking of upgrading my security cameras to 4K models with tilt, pan, and zoom ability. Does anyone have a model or brand to recommend based on experience? Looked at Amazon and the reviews are all over the map. My security monitoring company uses Digital Watchdog but I have not been impressed with them. Saw Lorex in Costco but the online reviews were not good for the company.

LTS( mostly re-branded Hik with real US support), Hikvision, Dahua or Nelly's ( rebranded combination of Hik and Dahua stuff with Excellent support).

LTS seems to have the same mixed to poor reviews as Lorex - both have flashy websites. I know to be skeptical to a degree of online reviews but hard to totally ignore. Tough to find the real data on security companies these days as I am sure some of the reviews are by competitors looking for an upper hand.

I have a Qsee system and 2 Lorex systems. I like the Lorex better and I can actually get support from them. I updated my iPhone and now I cant even get on my Qsee system anymore. When I finally got ahold of them(took 2 months for them to respond online support) they said they no longer support the system(4 years old) need to buy a new one. I would suggest an ip system, the wiring is much easier, no power adapters needed and better quality. There is a 25% discount code available on another carwash page.

Try the “Q-SeeQT view” app (it’s the icon with gold colored “QT” over a gray car and black background). Took me a while to find this app but so far so good after iPhone update several months back.
