What solenoids are best for use with spot free < for water going to the bays. The ones I will be replacing are 3/32, 24v, mopd 200. 1/4 inch. Can't seem to find these exact ones.

Mine is set up using Kip manifolds. Working good for 7-8 years now.

I've been using these:

https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-1848-kip-solenoids-18-24v-metering-side-orifice-332.aspx

Can't find them in 1/4" pipe but I just use 1/4 to 1/8" reducer nipples and 1/8" pipe to 3/8" tubing elbows for the outlet. I used to place blanket orders for KIP solenoids, 2,000 over a year and could get them for about $14 bucks each. You can get 1/4" direct from their site but you'll pay about $90 apiece and lead time is 4 weeks.

Makes sense...I only run my SFR at 150 psi...So either the brass or SS will work. Higher pressures will require a solenoid that will handle what ever pressure you are running.

I have in the past built equipment or set up washes with a Procon pump running 225 PSI and used the 3/32" orifice Kips, but I've seen washes using a booster pump running 150 PSI and large solenoids and 3/8" hose instead of tubing and the pressure at the tip seems just about as good.

The larger the orifice the better. I swapped from a manifold block solenoid to a GC and the flow in the bay increased dramatically.

I would not have thought that to be so since the tip in the bay is much smaller than the orifice, but you're definitely right.
