In wall vending machine

Are there other companies that make in wall rear load spiral vending machines besides Shurvend, Raddatz, and IVS? I'm leaning toward the 18 selection Raddatz because it is only about $3,200 but what do you guys recommend? There's a used 14 year old D/H for $1,800 on Car Wash Consignment but I think it's a little pricey for it's age. Raddatz upgraded their electronics last year to accept Cryptopay and I'm not sure what it would take to update it.

The Raddatz appears to be the same unit everyone else sells (GinSan/IVS, Kleen-Rite, Shurvend, Etowah Valley) and it's the same cabinet as the D/H you mentioned so you can be sure there are parts and upgrades. I would neither pay $1800 for a used unit nor buy it through Car Wash Consignment.

Shurvend starts with an AMS vendor and adds their own touches. I don't have any of them, so I really can't say for sure what they do beyond the standard vendor.

It's been for sale for a long time and it's a little too tired and outdated for me. cwguy is who is selling it and I like his blog.

look into this setup. cost me $300 for machines at aramark. They hold way more products than the 9 rings vending machines and you also wont have to deal with awful Ginsan.

I looked into that type and was told by several vending companies that they weren't made for really cold environments. Maybe you're getting some heat from the back or it's not as cold in Philly? Ginsan is out anyway because we can't use Cryptopay on it. What's so bad about Ginsan anyway? It seems like there are very few car wash equipment manufacturers that everyone can agree that are good.

Philly gets cold but not under 0 degrees often. and these are exposed to all weather. I’ve never had a problem with cold or heat and they’ve been installed for over 15 years. The back of the machines do get heat though in the mechanical room. For $300 each i would try this option first as each machine holds over 35 separate vending items. Each spindle holds as much as 24 air fresheners. More vending options equal more revenue.

Comparing that to a 9-12 option vend for over $3k seems expensive and not a great way to have many vending options.

We were debating between the 18 and the 30 selection but yes they are pricey. Also your $300 was a used machine and these "car wash" in wall stainless vendors are rarely found used. Whatever we put in will be compatible with Cryptopay.

I must say that the IVS/Ginsan model the stainless construction looks awsome like it would last 15 years without blinking a eye like there vacuums in the weather. Another option if you don't want to mess up the brick at your place is Etowah valleys old faithful vender. Just my two cents.

I looked at the Etowah Valley Old Faithful vender once, rather pricey for how little capacity it has. The security was lacking, looked like a 5th grader could pop it open with a good screw driver. This is a nice little vender for the money http://www.amsvendors.com/slimgem/

Have been using a Champion GinSan System for over 14yrs and can't Complain. Customer Service is Very Good . And equipment has held up very Well.

Some of these machines are interesting but they are pretty deep and front load. What it comes down to is that if we want a rear load that will work with Cryptopay then Raddatz is it.

FWIW you can make Cryptopay work with anything that takes coin pulses.

I talked to cryptpay about certain older machines. They don't work with everything that takes coin pulses. But call them if/before you buy an older used model to make sure they are compatible.
