I hope the unit cleans better than they can repair their broken coin acceptors.

This should be interesting......... says they are coming out with a friction unit as well.

It's on their website as well

We saw that video a few months ago. The quality of the video says it all with it being shot vertical on a cell phone and no sound. Why is it that companies want to venture into new things when they can't make what they already make very well? (or at least anymore)

SW Indiana melon fields.
Yeah, I don't think IDX would have a snowball's chance in hell in the IBA market, since they would be going after the same market they have been giving horrible service for the last several years.

I'm envisioning 8 or 9 cars stacked on top of each other in the bay and those led lights flashing red and green ..

We won't ever!! buy anything with a IDX Logo on it again. They are the worse of the worse for service.

I agree that our friend & former Car Wash Forum contributor Mike Oliver & company would have been better off building on & maintaining their one time strength in their products. Maybe they can turn that around ... I don't think the lack a proper political policy distribution (availability) of higher denomination coins to adjust for inflation within our Dear USA helped them one bit.

Not sure on their new IBAs ... time will tell how that works out for them & the rest of the car wash industry.

I did not agree with IDX's pursued strategy & direction of central pay devices for laundromats. A bit like the John Coleman's central pay device format???

Standard ChangeMakers also pursued & went into a type of central pay device format for laundromats. I am not sure how much that sidetracked the two companies or how deep either of them actually went in that direction though.

An update if anyone was interested. This machine was replaced with a Razor. The guy loves the Razor. Sounded to me owner was basically out of business for a year trying to get the IDX Machine working!! Lost business, lost money lost time due to IDX inabilities to make something work.
