What length vacuum hose?

What length is your vacuum hose? I think mine need to be shorter because they are to long to hang on the vacuum hose holder but not sure what length to make them?

Are you trying to loop them tight? I re-hang the hoses with just two loops, which allows me access to the coin door and vault without removing the hose, and keeps customers from struggling to unwrap it. IMO the hanger on most vacs is meant to hold two loops with standard 15' hoses. I've noticed the more often I go through and re-hang them, the more likely they are to do it the same way.

The Smooth-Bor brand hoses are already that way.

I've always felt 15' was a bit short. If I order 50' length, I cut it into three equal pieces. 75' gets cut into four pieces.

Are you saying that if you buy the 50' they are already cut into thirds? The 2" Smooth-Bor hoses we buy from Kleen_Rite are 15'.

I doesn't seem to matter how I hang them, the first customer will wrap it 3 or 4 times then it falls down as they drive off. I have a couple hoses that must be 50' cut in half or 25' hoses. I thought they seemed a little long.

No, years ago someone from Smooth-Bor told me they're made in 50' lengths and then cut into thirds for the 15' ones.

I have mine cut at 12ft. Reason i did this is there is always a place someone cant reach so they have to turn car around and spend more money. Also at 15ft i noticed they used to throw on the ground alot more. Now I see alot more people hanging them. My vacs do really really well also.
