Interesting WashWorld Razor Edge Modification

I would love to know how they are switching between the two manifolds? Do you think they’re using some kind of checkvalve with a really high cracking pressure to prevent the low pressure functions from going though the regular wand? It’s hard to tell if the HP is coming out of both or just the regular manifold/turbo nozzles.

I would say they are plumbed completely independent of each other so the High pressure goes from the pump to the wand and the low pressure goes from the low pressure manifold directly to his new nozzles. If he put wide angled nozzles on he would get great coverage with less soap. How does he stop the low pressure hose from twisting round the high pressure rotation arm though? Would love to see a pic!!!

The twisting of the hoses is exactly why it can’t be hooked up as you described. That’s what makes it so baffling to me.

There must be a large solenoid similar to the type Mosmatic uses for their double and triple booms.

Agreed. I would say it closes the feed to the hp then opens to feed the low pressure and is fitred just before the arm. So no tangling hose!

If it is indeed Morts Car Wash then their phone number is 435-789-9274. The video on their website states their truck bay wands put out 30 gallons per minute. Probably messed up on saying that one.

I think it was D&S that used to supply a hook-up off the 3535 pump for the user to run it and wash down the bay. All I heard was that the pressure and flow with the setup it came with was so high it was unuseable - garbage and algae would splatter all over you and the ceiling, you couldn't get any mud into the pit because it would blast right over it, etc.
