That’s a lot of pressure so just wanted to know. I’d think twice the pressure would peel paint 😬
It would most likely trip the breaker first. I made a call for a tripping breaker on a D&S 5000 where the owner changed the regulator and cranked it all the way down. It was running 2600 PSI, sure cleaned good.

Dynawash Dave piping in, I absolutely love the performance of my refurbished Dynawash which is similar to the futura. Zero degree nozzles at 700psi, increased speed of stroke to avoid zebra stripes of past. Reliable, good performance and old school just the way I like it. First time I’ve experienced this forum coming down so harshly on equipment.

The Futura was so slow it wasn't a problem. I have seen cars driving around with swirls from spinning zero-degree nozzles and wondered what machine moved so fast to do that.
We run Futura machines and you are correct that trying to speed up will lead to striping. And yes, the pressure rocks the cars side to side. Old school and reliable but a bit hoggish in water usage.
