We currently use Lustra in our PDQ 360 but our current supplier and dealer just sold out to Sonny’s which uses Diamond Shine I think. Has anyone used DiamondShine in a touch free application?

I haven't, but have heard they're really expensive, work fairly well, & want a contract signed

Not sure what area you are in, I'm here in the Mid-Atlantic. The vast majority of our customers have made the switch to Diamond Shine, we do a significant amount of IBA business and were Lustra's top distributor. Your chemical rep I'm sure can do a cost comparison for you and show you what you cost per car will be if you make the switch. In every case I have seen, the CPC with Diamond Shine was less than the CPC with Lustra.

I am in southwest Virginia area. Did most of your customers use touch free IBA or addiction wash. We have a Laserwash 360+ and as of now LUSTRA does an excellent job. We are getting ready to add a few options to increase our wash price with rust inhibitor for the winter and bug prep for the summer. The LUSTRA does a good job there are a few aspects that could be better the2 step presoak doesn’t have much color show and neither does the color wave and there are any good smells. Just want to get dilution ratios right to keep good reputation in small town

Will was my chemical rep but the moved their territory around and now I have Scott as my rep. Just want to make sure they have used the diamond shine on the Laserwash 360 before. I know you need different chemicals for different areas Lustra had to change their initial setup when it was installed

Our supplier (Washtech/Harrell's) was sold to Sonny's. We were told they were not going to sell Advantage, the only Lustra chemical we used. We switched to Kleen Rite Track 2A and 2B, which is working well for us at a cheaper cost. We were then told we could buy Advantage again, but we'll stick to Kleen Rite.
