We are using ‘count up’ and have had a few issues with people not pressing the stop button and then they of course dispute the charge. We have since programmed the timer to scroll the message ‘press flashing button to stop charges’ and it has helped.

The reason I’m posting this is because after really looking at my statement I noticed we got banged for $90 last month for chargeback inquiries ( 3 * $30/each). After calling Worldpay, I found out I was set up on a per inquiry basis rather than their monthly service. The monthly service is $10/mo if you have one or two chargebacks per month. If you continue getting chargebacks, it will bump up to $15/month etc. It’s a tiered system. Cryptopay ought to talk to their Worldpay rep and insist they set up their customers with the monthly coverage or at a minimum bring it to the customers attention that it’s an option.

Just a heads up.

I've had a few people forget to hit the stop button. It would help if the light changed to red when the count up started but there are wys to change that yourself. In the past year I've had maybe a couple dozen max out at 20 dollars and I think only two have complained and caused a chargeback. It's a learning curve just like everything else. People need to learn how to read the instruction signs. I've had people hit the button right after the count up started and complain about repeated swipes costing them 2.50 each.

I have 2-3 chargebacks per month and havem't even bothered to look hard at the statements. Where is the fee for excessive chargebacks located?
