I use “Salt Neutralizer” as a $5 buy-up on my Razors. My customers love it and I’ve had comments that they choose my wash over the others because of it.
I want to add it to my SS bays. Adding it as a low pressure function will cost a little more than adding it as a HP function but cost isn’t really an issue/concern.
What would your preferred type of application for a salt neutralizer product? I’m leaning towards low pressure so that I can simply change that function to a bug remover (which I don’t currently offer) during the off season.

I think it would get a lot more use as a high-pressure function

Yeah...I know. But, I also know that my IBA customers give me an extra $2 to “neutralize” a rock.
I’m not a chemist but I am a businessman. My job is to make my customers happy. In return, they give me $$$.
In all seriousness, several chemical manufacturers offer the product. I have no idea how effective it is. I hope that the manufacturers aren’t selling a product that effectively does nothing. I want to offer my customers products and services that meet their needs and have value. For example, I don’t offer Triple foam in my SS bays because I don’t think it offers much value vs other products.

I use simoniz de-salt, low pressure.
I think it does a better job on the brines used today than presoak, but I havent done any thorough testing.
It actually took 3 years for it to get significant use - slowly increasing each year. I do have some signs for the bays, and a 3' sign I put out at the road when snow is forecast.

Regarding swapping it seasonally with bug off, I did that for the first 2 years, then I stopped. Bug off just didnt sell for me at all, so I figured having customers see the "de-salt" option on the rotary dial all year long was a better option, & Im guessing I did get some awareness/advertising mileage out of that. FYI I have 6 - 8 gallons of bug off sitting in my shed if you want some.
