Thank you for the heads up. I do know the previous owner put 3 5’s out before he left and I’m down to a quarter on 2 buckets. I’ve turned 3000 cars yesterday from November 1 until now. I’ll definitely be watching. Thx again

I've had great results with with the JBS product in both touchless and soft touch.

Which JBS ceramic are you using in your touchless, shine time glaze, protect or dry?

low pressure pass or injected into high pressure?

Have they managed to add any color or scent to their ceramic? Last time I tried a sample it was colorless and non scented.

I believe it is the shine time. It goes on low pressure with hockey puck applicators. It goes on white and does have a scent of some kind.

I have set up a couple washes with it, works very good. I will be putting it in at my washes in the next week or so.

I was thinking about using it in the self serve bays But I want it to be exclusive to my automatic wash.

IMO I would not worry at all about having it in the bays and automatic. I have a few customers that have it in both.

I am as green as it gets...just bought my first 5 bay SS 2 weeks ago...Merry Christmas to me!

I talked to the Kleen-Rite Soap Rep about adding Ceramic to SS Bays. He said some are using Simoniz Ceramic Sealant at 75:1 with a brown mettering tip with great results. I have been detailing for years and know first hand Ceramic is the way to go. This is more of a 30 day sealant with Ceramic properties. Ceramic is definitely all the rage right now, but I would just call it wax on the dial so everyone "knows" to use it and sell it on results to set yourself apart from the competition. This would also alleviate someone pulling the trigger for 3 minutes to "Ceramic Coat" their vehicle.

I am not using it. He said that is how others are using it. Pretty sure he said 75-90:1 low pressure. I am considering Kleen-Rite Deep Blue Foaming Shine instead. It is $93 a gallon. 5 gallons mixed with 10 gallons of water makes 15 gallons then diluted 6-900:1.

I tried the deep blue for a little bit several years ago. If a white car comes through that is chalking and never been waxed, it will leave a blue tint in the paint.
They may have changed the formula, but it's something to be aware of.

I have been setting it up for high pressure. I think you use less because it goes on faster at high pressure. But who knows I could be wrong.

Very different product from the ceramic sealant. The results will definitely not be even close.

I have tried JBS Ceramic & Quest Vantagloss. Both definitely work better in the friction wash.

JBS has too many different Ceramics,& gets confusing, as they suggest layering 3 of them!

There are some drying aids advertised as "ceramic" that are very inexpensive to use but I don't think they offer much in protection or longevity.

The call it "layers of protection", but I've been told that there is not anything that has bonded or cured during the wash process quickly enough to truly "layer" , but the compatible products can compliment each other.
