Looks like I need a new one. My red hat has a small hole in the diaphragm. The cost for a rebuild kit is more than a many new valves. Anyone have a suggestion on a new valve? 1/2" 110v. Thanks.

I like the ASCO 8210G34 but your right they are expensive. I've been getting them on Ebay. If you can't find one there look at KR, the Dema normally open 0474P 1/2" works well.

For part number clarity, DEMA O474P is 1/2" normally open.

I use the 3/8" version, no particular reason for choosing that size, the valve is identical otherwise. They've been 100% reliable.

I use the dema 0473P.3 and have had it stick both open and closed, it is mounted vertically though, and I believe they are supposed to be mounted horizontally only.

FWIW my Dema NO for Weep seemed exceptionally susceptible to any tiny debris. Went to the Big Box sore and got a whole house filter and change filter element each year. No more issues.

That's good to know. I quit using Demas for weep Years ago because I had trouble with them not closing. I use the GC.
