Photo Eye Cleaning

You guys have any suggestions on what to clean the hard film off the lens of the photo eyes. I’ve always used rubbing alcohol but the new spot has build up on them bad. Thanks for the suggestions!!

Blue Magic metal polish. I use it to clean the Dixmor timer lenses. The previous owner used a steel wool pad to clean them, now they're almost perfectly clear.

No, just Blue Magic metal polish. I used the metal polish to remove the scratches from the steel wool.
