My CAT 3535 running my PDQ IBA is growling

My 3535 is making a vibration/growl every 4-5 seconds or so. I can actually see pressure drop while its happening. I have 2 1/4 years....61K washes on this pump. What has experience told you guys that is the cause of this noise?? I cant imagine that noise is from the head. It sounds to me more like a bearing. I dont have much experience with these pumps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like a cavitation issue to me.

If you think cavitation could growl like that, Ill check for any loose fittings or problems on the intake side of the pump.....Who knows??

Same here ,sounds like cavitation or a water feed problem.

So here the result....it was cavitation, found the cause in a bad valve seat. It was the last valve I checked and I found a tiny score on the seat of the #3 intake valve. Now Im back up running strong. Hard to believe that tiny seal issue almost beat me. Live and learn. Thanks for the feedback.
