Hello fellow wash operators!

We were recently contacted by Merchant Advocates regarding the monitoring of our credit card processors charges on our behalf. Hoping some one can help us in deciding if we should proceed in using their service. I'm guessing there are others that have used their services, so I have a two questions for those that do or have used them. If it would be more appropriate or you don't feel comfortable posting, feel free to pm me.

1) How long have you been involved with them?
2) Are you happy with their service?

Thanks in advance!

What exactly are they offering to do?
Basically, look over credit card processing statements to find billing errors and negotiate with them to lower/eliminate fees. In exchange they get a 50% cut of the dollars saved. For example if they find a $100 billing error they keep $50.

After a free initial analysis of one months statements if you are satisfied and want to continue there is a three year contract. So I'm looking to find people experienced with this service to see if we should go forward with a three year contract.

Check out Cardfellow.com . Several years ago, I used them to find the cheapest merchant provider. They charge the provider, not you. They do an audit annually to make sure the merchant provider is sticking to their terms.

I'm nothing except a satisfied user of their service.

FWIW, they found me a provider called PayLine. It works well for small tickets like we have at our car washes.
