Yes just about done. Still have some signage to put up but all the equipment is in. We have had some issues with the paystations. We are still working through some connection issues with director, and we are having an IP conflict with the server that is like a ghost… we can’t find the conflict but every so often it rear it’s head… lol
the
pdq access machines were easier to use for customers then the c-starts are. Our paystations have some of the first emv reader devices installed on these machines in all of New England I think. They have had some issues.
For example, old
credit card swipers allowed you to simply swipe the card then choose a wash package. Now you have to progress through the whole menu and choose a wash package before paying. And even then you have to hit the button that says debit/credit on the screen or it doesn’t turn the emv reader on.
The machines are a little more confusing to use but give you more options then we had before. We can now offer buy ups. On all packages we offer an extra
soap pass and an extra HP rinse pass for $3 each. Lots of people have been choosing those options. On the top washes we offer buybups of hot wax and ceramic.
The old access machines paired with the G5 wash equipment wasn’t able to do buy ups at all. Now we’re getting $6 for a little extra
soap and water… lol
