Can someone please confirm what after market motors they use to replace the motors in JE Adams combo model 29070 Ultra Series units (e.g. vacuum, carpet cleaner, spot remover)?

Thanks

Oh I should have thought to check Amazon. Thank you.

I asked Kleen Rite a question on their site under the vacuum what the replacement motors were and didn’t get a reply from them.

I didn’t want to order from the guy who I bought the vacuum from, I just ordered a replacement compressor and he charged me $700 for one that I found new elsewhere for half that and bought a used one on ebay for $30 for. That’s what I get for not getting a quote before ordering.

We use the KR VMK19 Vac motor. When you change motors to a different brand, you always want to use the same motor so they all turn at the same RPM.

We use these also, good suction and life out of them.

Been using the KR VMK 19 for a long time - perhaps decades.

So I've been using the cheap Lambs for years. I'm curious why you guys don't use them. Their longevity and suction seem fine. Any input?

I am getting to the point where I don't bother changing brushes. When one goes out I just change them all three out for less than $200 and they're good for 3+ years.

I am about to convert to some two motor vacs (from three motor) so if anyone can attest to a significnat increase in performance I'm interested.

My reason is the VMK19 is 20% less expensive and they run long and strong.

we use the lam motors, the reason is Vac brush replacement is losing 2 screws to replace brushe, vmk motors are harder to change out due to using a metal tap to get under brush's,

We use the vmk because they are cheaper like edredtop mentioned. I have my guys replace brushes when there is extra time and rainy days. I didn't replace brushes when we did everything ourselves, wasn't worth the time, we would replace the motor.

Replacing the brushes on a VMK19 motor is about as simple as it gets. They are a lot easier than on the Lamb motors. The hardest part of changing the brushes on our VMK-19 motors is taking the top off.
