Hey all,
New here and to the car wash industry and hoping to find a little help.
The company I work for has a self serve, 8 bays with a button box instead of dial. we’ve had a real head scratcher for a year or more with bays three and four.
you kick on HP soap or spot rinse on bay 3, and it triggers tri foam on bay 4. However bay 3 still produces selected option simultaneously. We’ve tracked and checked wiring, grounds, etc. Hoping someone has had this happen before or could provide a little out of the box thinking that we’re missing.
Thanks in advance!

Since you have pushbutton meters do you know if between the meter and the control room is it connected by a data cable or by induvial wires just like a rotary switch? If it is induvial muti conductor control cable or induvial wires my guess is the Soap, Spot free wires bay 3 and bay 4 triple foam have insulation worn off or pinched. Are these meters mounted back-to-back with 1 conduit running up to the attic? If it is 2 data cables, not sure as to why that could happen between bays.

Hey there! I’m terribly terribly sorry for taking over a month to reply. Personal health stuff and the washes being crazy haven’t given me much time. But I did want to respond and say that the insulation on the wiring was the culprit. It was hidden behind two pumps so we weren’t able to see it until finer tracing. Thank you!!
