So I called van brook to order more inch and an eighth tokens for my car wash. Much to my surprise every number listed for van brook gets answered by a receptionist who politely exclaims "community ventures"! What now? Was van brook bought by hoffman mint and they have my custom logo for tokens or am I just SOL and need to start fresh when ordering my inch and an eighth Tokens? Interestingly, van brook is an advertiser on this very forum, so… What gives?

Just another consolidation for the carwash industry. You are aware that in 2006 Osborne Coinage took over VanBrook as Virgal's health was declining. About 3 or 4 years ago Osborne was purchased by large European mint. Earlier this year Osborne was sold again to another European mint . It appears they have discounted the slow-moving metals so a lot of the security tokens are gone.

Hi TM, The only metals that were discontinued are those we can no longer get from any metal provider. It really has nothing to do with slow moving. We do have additional alloys available as replacements.
