Anyone else having issues with the new tap plus units? From some odd reason it intermittenly doesnt read/detect cards untill the power is shut off for a few seconds then turned back on. I've been having this issue since i made the switch from swipers. I also lost a few customers as well because the bay wouldnt turn on and the customer didn't have cash on hand. This is a real bummer because i spent alot of money converting to tap plus units thinking they were going to be better and easier to use for the customer. It's been turning out the opposite.

They are not giving me the correct reason why its doing this. Most likely they dont know how to correct this Bug that the units have. They will always come up with some excuse or connectivity issue but this is not the case. Some how it seems like its locking up or freezing untill you power it down then turn it back on.

I never had this issue with their swipers. I've been using crypto swipers for years! There's some kind of bug thats causing this issue but cryptopay can't figure it out. At $500 per unit, the device should run superior without having these type of issues.

Today was the first time I have seen it normally they run great. Should we put a christmas tree timer on the cryptopay router to reset once a day.

My soap distributor has the tap plus and he recently told me Cryptopay had an issue with a certain early batch of serial numbers.

I had an issue where one of mine randomly switched from count down to count up, anyone ever had that happen? It was a big problem because I don’t have the stop button installed so there was no way for the customer to stop it. Luckily I showed up in person while the time was counting up (it was around 16:00 when I arrived, and the customer was on the phone with their credit card company asking what to do). I had to turn the breaker off and back on to get it to reset itself. Haven’t seen that happen since but definitely not good.

I had the same issue 3 or 4 times in different bays. It went to count up i had to shut the breaker off to reset. Cryptopay won't admit there's issues with the tap plus units. I spoke to dixmor and they also said there's an issue with their tap plus units that caused the timer to go into count up mode instead of count down.
