Thought I share this interesting carwash. Basically a stainless fest. It's an 8 bay self service, very well designed by manufacturer, all hoses, cables, rain water drains are built in and hidden giving the carwash very clean look. The theme is continued also insight the equipment room which arrived assembled on a truck, we only had to put it on its place with crane. Pumps are Interpump (I think they are sold as General Pumps in the US) with stainless heads driven by 5,5 kW motor each (through inverters). Water softener and osmosis. One more interesting thing is the tunnel where HP hoses are routed is heated during the winter and the water is circulated only between the boom and the lance. so its max 3 seconds until chemicals, especially foam gun, give customers what they expect and they don't have the wait until the hose is purged in its entirety. Warm water floor heating is installed in all the bays, heated through 70 kW heatpump.

No problem, we can talk.

As anywehere in the world, location is key. In this part of Europe that was behind the iron curtain we have these soviet style housing estates comprised of concrete apartment building. These are prime locations because of the density of population without private parking and garages, so the demography there also prefers self service as it's the cheapest. At the same time though not an easy task to find a spot for carwash in these places but you have them all over Czech republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Austria,Slovenia, Balkans/Ex-Yugoslavia. All of our own and our customers best performing sites are in the vicinity of these places.

have a look around this place to see what I mean: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sWejLJWZpppU9RP27

It looks like shit. The whole area is graffitied. Looks like a prime location to get vandalized and trashed.

Well they are not the most pretty sights but they are excellent locations for SS carwash. Insurance is compulsory so people tend to ring up if they break something, also police have pretty good resolution rate.

Vandalism is not a big issue here. In 15 years I've had couple of robbery attempts. Attempts because we run central vaccuum for all our bays and we suck the coins into the safes inside the equipment room.
