Mac, thanks for your help and I will be getting back to you. I need all the help I can get with this machine. I posted to this site for some help with a machine that the manufacturer SHOULD support. Mark VII will only do this through their distributor. I have had some dealings with other makers and one in particular will work with the equipment owner every step of the way.
My issues with the Wesumat have been...
The triple foam sux. I have rengineered the tubes for better coverage.
The shampoo was horrible. Customers didn't even knew there was any even getting on the car. I spoke to the distributor about this many times. I finally started talking to some other people and we put a foam generator on the shampoo. I'm using half the shampoo with 100% better show.
I want to figure out a way to send information that the wash has tripped to the
Hamilton so it won't take money for another wash. It sends something to the wash panel making it flash green, it seems it could communicate with the entry system to let it know that it is offline. The Mark VII distributor doesn't seem to have the resources to be able to help me on this and Mark VII won't talk to me about it.
If you produce a good product and support it effectively, I don't think you would need to make sure your distibutor has a monopoly on the market. The Wesumat is a good wash but it has a lot of bugs that need to be ironed out. I guess if you refuse to talk to the guys who deal with the machine everyday then the world seems awfully rosy when it comes to your equipment.
