no foam :(

Hey everone, I'm having problems getting foam out of my brush setup. Maybe someone can help? My setup is as follows:
Flojet pump pushing solution through kip valves to brush. Air is supplied through the brush as well via seperate valves/line. They meet in the middle somewhere overhead. What comes out is a soap/water solution with air occaisionally blowing out. I think the mixture is strong enough, it's mixed through a hydrominder. Thanks -Kevin

More than likely it's either not strong enough or your water is hard. If the latter is ok, check the Hydrominder. The main culprit is often a failed foot valve. Make sure the discharge hose off the bottom of the Hydrominder into the diluted product has a small hole in it above the water level and below the small restriction ring inside the hose. The hole will prevent diluted product from siphoning back into the bucket if the foot valve fails. Check the hose to the pail and make sure it stays full of concentrate between fills. Check the Hydrominder valve itself and make sure it's filling the tank at a strong flow - the newer models with the plastic stem seem to go bad in a manner that causes the flow to be too weak to properly draw the chemical. Also check the foot valve screen and the tip in the Hydrominder for debris that might be restricting flow of concentrate.

A quick check to see if the soap is strong enough is to just pour some into the tank and run it to see if it works right.

Okay, I saw this line and the first thought that came to mind that you didn't mention was whether there was a foam generator on your line. Your solution and air lines should meet then go into a foam generator (pipe bomb looking thing, then down to your brush. If you have one, then you might want to check to see that it isn't broken, leaking, etc..
