Armor All Hairbrained Idea

I have 2 new D&S 3-in-1 combo vacs on the way. They have 3 fragrances whereas my existing D&S vacs have 4. I'd like to have the same frags in all vacs - what would you think if I dispensed Armor All from the frag gun in place of the 4th frag? Would the AA create an oiliness/stain problem if it was accidently shot under a seat? Also, would this create the potential for customers to tug on the hose given that the frag gun hose probably wouldn't reach all 4 tires?

People are generally stupid. I would not do it. You know car wash customers do not read; therefore it will end up being your fault for their stupidity.

Armor All won't atomize well just drawing through a fragrance gun, and I agree, people will find a way to do something stupid. I played around with the idea to try and make an Armor All dispenser - I used the shampooer pump and it worked pretty well, but Armor All is way too expensive to give out like that.

I actualy have an AA machine that worked like a fragrance machine. Forgot who made it. It was a PITA due to puddles of AA where the customer used it. The machine is sitting unused in my equip room. I may conver it to a tire inflator or single fragrance machine.

I've seen an actual Armor All machine - it pumped the liquid without mixing with any air. The guy that had it had the same complaint plus another; since you paid by volume and not by time, people would spend a half-hour parked by the machine spritzing a tiny bit on their tires, dash or whatever and sit there detailing with it. He wasn't able to make the money with it he had expected, but if customers only used it to spray their tires as it was intended he might have done well.

The AA machine I have uses the same nozzle / venturi set up as Fragarance machines. It was timer controlled and the gun had a push button trigger switch so it only sparays when pushed, but the time ran all the time.

Red Baron, if you're still interested in the idea, I just remembered that I made a video of my makeshift Armor All dispenser. If you want I'll upload it to YouTube and post a link for you. The thing I don't remember is how quickly it went through the 4 oz. bottle while I was playing with it.

That's be great, thanks.
