I have a problem with my Ryko soft gloss that we can not figure out.
It will do the soap pass and stop before the brushes start up and give code 7
( drive fault) this will only happen about every 15 -25 washes sometimes longer.
We reset the plc and it will normally do it again and then it will be OK for as long as 60 washes and it will happen again. I meged the drives and every thing seems OK it will only give this code on the first pass and has never shut down any other time during the wash. Any Help is appreciated im lost on this one.

Code 07 is VFD fault. This could indicate something as simple as someone turning the high voltage off, but in your case it sounds like the FWD/REV relay or a motor going bad.

If it's during the foam bath pass, you may be going so slow, that it is getting hung up on a bad spot in the tracks. Just a thought...

You can go into your Delta VFD and review the last 3 faults. I forget the # of the parameter, but I can dig it up if you want.

I am having the same problem but mine is on the last pass, I replaced the driver side motor and it worked for a while but now the problem is back the circuit protectors are not tripping and the relay looks good so I am left to guessing.

On a Delta VFD, the parameters that hold the fault codes are 73, 74 and 75. They will clear though when you turn the disconnect to open the cabinet unless you have the interlock removed. For a description of the fault codes, here is a link to where you can download the users manual for that model drive: http://www.deltaacdrives.com/delta-vfd015m21a/

When this problem occurs, is it happening when the machine slows and changes direction? If so, this would likely be an over voltage issue due to regeneration and can be resolved by changing VFD parameter 102 from 00 to 03.

You have program 25696-000 revision B installed in your Softgloss. Code 8401 indicates a VFD fault code and the machine is down. Sequence code 0139 is a program step that occurs after the machine is told to decel at the conclusion of the rinse passes. Most likely you are moving quickly on your rinse passes, and as it decelerates is causing a motor regeneration current that results in an overvoltage. There are several things that can contribute to this problem and I understand you have contacted service to come out and take a look at it. This one can be difficult to diagnose, and is the right direction.
