...but it just may be a lunatic you're lookin' for...

I'm probably nuts expanding in this cruddy economy but I pulled the trigger on replacing my D&S 5000 with an i5000, and enclosing my outside bay and putting in another i5000.

One advantage is that I'm getting a good deal on construction costs due to the bad economy.

We're trying to "pull the trigger" on replacing the Vector (touchless) with a Freestyler (brush). I feel that if everyone stops spending money because of economy concerns, it's only going to get worse. Besides, with a new friction tunnel nearby our auto business is way down. We need to get cars cleaner to compete.

A down economy is when healthy businesses choose to spend $ because their dollars go further. This is wise investing 101.

My friend who owns a large, multi-location retail auto.-related biz has been in buying and spending mode since the economy tanked. He's positioning himself for big gains down the road.

We did the same...added on and installed a new auto. Scary at times...you look at all the equipment, materials, and workers and wonder "what the hell did I get into!?"...you just hope your numbers are right and go for it.

Our upgrade has been just that...a major upgrade. Now if I could just get revenues to increase on the rest of the place like I did on the new bay!

Good luck and go for it!!!!!!

Now I remember why I had Billy Joel running through my head all day yesterday.
