Magic Wand Magic Spray Machine

Does anyone have this automatic? I am having some weird issue with the unit. Every once in a while, only on the spot free cycle, the gantry stops at the back right side of the car. It just sits and sprays spot free till the car pulls out and does not finish the wash. It trips the drive inside. I flip the breaker to the drive and move the gantry home and no more problems. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Don't have one, but it sounds like a prox switch is failing.

I also do not have a Magic Spray, but I would also guess prox switch or cable for prox.

My machine has led input lights that correspond to each prox; when prox should be lit, the led will be lit inside gantry plc. If you have similar input lights, check them when machine faults (before you reset etc.) and they should tell you whether the prox is sending a signal or not.

Yes, I do. I'm assuming since you say that it stops at the back right side of the vehicle, that your applying spot free through the wand? When the wand gets to this position, does it rotate like it is going to travel down the passenger side of vehicle before it stops?

Yes, It was something wrong with the drive. I had to change the stop time on the drive from a .03 to a .04. Havenet had any problems since
