Considering purchasing a standard residential/light commercial front load washer for towels to dry cars as opposed to an extractor. B/c my capture rate for towel dry is relatively low, I was thinking the speed (and cost) of an extractor might be unnecessary(?) Any suggested brands or better ideas?

Thanks!

A residential washing machine does not remove enough water from the towels. They are not built to withstand the wear and tear of constant use.

Check with mjwelch, he has a laundromat with some good front loaders, he can advise you. A good used one of those would do the trick.

If you are in a good size town that has laundromats their may be a local outfit that buys, sells refurb commercial units,
