Has anyone used these before? They are from Sonny's.

Do they work good?
Do they use a lot of soap?
How do you like them?

I think the cost is $575 for a pair.

For that price they should do a heck of a job.

I think they mostly provide a show for the customer who might be viewing from a walkway. If they are in the car and see Foam soap on the windows I don't think it makes much of an difference as to how it got there.

I have experimented with the showerhead foamers. I like them for triple foam applications. I tried them for presoak and lubricant soap as well.
They save some chemical because you don't have the full tube of foam draining between cars but I don't know how significant that is. They typically use more holes but smaller holes than the tubes making it easier to apply foam that rinses easily.

Probably the biggest downside is that they don't cover the lower rocker panels well and if customers are watching from outside the car they may not like that. They are also expensive to retrofit. I got around the cost factor by buying just the showerhead part from Vaughn Industries. It was much cheaper than Sonny's and I used the foam generator and mounting brackets I already had.

Mainly we are looking to add more of a look. Adding LED rope lights along with new foam applicators.

How many of the showerhead applicators do you have on each side? Just three? or a set for the top and bottom on each side?

I have 3 on each side for triple foam. I think 6 on each side would be overkill and use alot of chemical.

When I was experimenting with them for presoak application I used two per side.

Yes, I do like the showerheads better than the tubes. If I were buying an applicator I would purchase the showerhead over the tubes.

They were around $40 bucks but that was about 2 years ago. I also ordered a plastic ball socket that allows the shower head to be easily adjusted. It was about $10-$12.

At that time I think most other companies wanted $80 - $150 for just a shower head.
