I love my Ryko but i have a problem with it triping the breaker when someone has a trailer hitch. It doesnt happen everytime but enough that i need someone with in a couple min of the wash to reset it when it happens. Does anyone else experience this or is there any way this could be fixed we have signs that say remove your hitch but we all know how well people read.

Mine will do this but only if it gets wrapped around the hitch, maybe 1 out of 500. We wash a lot of trucks. Don't know if there is a sensitivity adjustment or not.

Increase the threshold on the breaker that is tripping. I installed my machine in 2004 and did this about 2 months later. A few extra red strings on the floor is better then getting there and seeing the machine sitting in the front of the bay.

This all depends on what wash you have. If it is a softgloss then you need to adjust the hysteresis overload. When it trips it only shuts off the brush for the rest of that pass. They will come back on again when the machine changes direction. If it is an older wash without the hysteresis overloads, I would look very closely at my arms in air pressure and the limit switch settings on the arms.

Thanks its a 2007 softgloss but the breaker does not reset it self that would be a very nice thing to have can you upgrade to these overloads

You should already have them, they are on the left side of the control panel on the wash. You just need to have them set properly.
