ICA Show

The first day seemed to have good traffic, most of the exhibitors that I talked to, thought that the quality of visitors were good.

The ICA Welcome party was well attemded and executed well.

I would agree with Bill. Most of the vendors I talked to said they were a bit disappointed with the attendance but the people who attended seemed like buyers or at least interested in finding something new. The last day was absolutely empty. Even most of the distributors were gone with mostly company people manning the booth. It's time to improve the Show format to create some excitement for attendees and give people a good reason to attend.

The worst part of the Show for me was a last minute meeting I had to attend on Tuesday after the Show which prevented me from attending the Forum party.

The last day was absolutely empty.

I have noticed that about other trade shows too. I like to be a little extra thorough at the booths at a trade show without hopefully coming across as aggressive. So in other words --- I tend to come back to a specific booth when they are not quite as busy. It is somewhat disheartening to have invested the time & expense of the trip to find that most of them left before the specified listed time.

I feel bad I could not make it & join many of you --- it was just too tough logistically this time around.
