Prox question

can anyone tell me what this means and where is lower boom prox located?

Alarm 62 :
Lower boom prox was ON at start of boom cycle. Check prox for proper operation.

what make equipment? If it's a WW2 the lower boom prox is on the pass. side inside the gantry panel. As you face the gantry with the panel off it is on the right side, down low, closer to the face of the gantry. there will be a bunch of counting tabs sticking out that the boom uses to locate itself and the boom prox will be below those tabs. Wave a piece of metal in front of it to see if it lights up. And look for a tin can or piece of tinfoil laying around in there that could be blowing around and tripping it. If the prox is on it's because it has detected something in front of it, or it's shorted out. My experience with prox switches has been that they stop working as opposed to staying "on"

the dreadful and troublesome : FusionX

to anyone out there thinking of getting this ... DONT.... its nothin but trouble.
Last month it jack the rear end of a customer car. JC reviewing it, they MIGHT reimburse the damage...hmmm.....

Jack the rear end of a car, what does that mean?

well to be more detailed, the boom that spray the front end and backend "bug pass" if you will, got stuck in a loop and keep goin up and down without moving to the home position which was on top. As the gantry move foward that boom didnt make it to the top, caught on the back end of the mini van "jack" the van up off the ground.... well you gotta see it . Let me find out how to convert this video to where i can post to utube or something.

JC keep saying its not the prox and refuse to replace...they working on software....man this is frustrating. BTW where do we buy parts for this stuff beside JC..they are so expensive. I want to get a prox to test it out.

I had thought about that machine, but the touch type just scares me! We have had enough people over the years saying the carwash damaged our car and we just have touchless! Its always been except one case, they damaged our carwash, because they arent smart enough to drive!
