Been using reclaim water in our first rinse arch and having problems getting suds off cars. Can I switch this arch to fresh water? Also, is it ok to flip the four tooth sprocket on our chain for longer life?

Yes and yes.:) I use all fresh water, so I guess I can't understand why you don't already use fresh water for rinsing. As far as your conveyor sprocket, it is OK to use both sides of the drive sprocket.

There are 2 set screws which hold it on the shaft of the gearbox. Loosen them and use a small sledge hammer or gear puller to remove the sprocket. Flip the sides and reinstall. Use never seize on the gearbox shaft for easy removal later.

I am confused by the first part of this question. If you are using reclaim for any part of the wash usually it is for a reason. IE: sewer costs, water costs, town/city regulations on discharge... what ever - I would say fresh water is always going to work better than reclaim when washing a car especially in the later part of the wash like rinses. So I would think only you could anwser this question. Do you need to use reclaim water to stay in balance or stay with in regulations or keep your costs of sewer, discharge, pumping, down ???
