What is the best product to use with this machine? Installed about 4 weeks ago and have had many problems. The coverage is good, the problem is we just can't seem to get the tire shine to actully shine. On some tires it is good, others sort of blotchy. I don't know if it is the product, or if it is the amount of water that is still on the tire as the machine is applying the tire shine. I have tried Blue Corals Black Magic Tire Wet and Armorall High gloss tire shine. Your recomendations will be appreciated.

Try new concept from ardex. Seems to be the right consistency for machines and leaves a great shine and is water based.

Check to see if the tires are getting clean prior to the dressing. As a general rule if you rub the tire with your finger and get black it is too dirty for dressing. The dirt absorbs the dressing and dulls the shine.

Motor city Tire Shine

We have had our motor city tire shine on line for about 18 months, 15 of which have been without much to complain about. But lately we are getting hit and miss blothy spots or no application at all. We have replace the check valves, reset the installation setting to factoryu per the motor city tech, checked for leaks in the hoses, Increased and decreased pressures but we can't figure it out, We typical use a lustra tire shine product, although we have recently tried a silicone based product, as well as Blue Ice, and a product from Motor City, which I believe is also silicone based.

Some jets squirt some don't. Sometimes none of them squirt sometimes all of them.

We are bleeding tire shine product so it must be going somewhere and our car counts have not changed.

Any ideas?

Some of the Belanger units are happy with Viper Shine product. I am happy as well but use the Viper machines.

Make sure you don't have an air leak on the inlet side of the application pump. You might be getting air pockets in the product lines running to the units in the wash bay. You could also run hot water through the system until you get a constant spray from all the nozzles. First pump all the product in the lines into a 5 gal bucket so you can use it later to refill them.

Do you have their fresh water flush kit installed? We had the same problem and that took care of it.
